Telogen Effluvium or Male Pattern Baldness?
I am a 17 year old male and I have been experiencing hair thinning and hair loss. I started noticing the density of my overall hair getting less and less around december. I'd wake up with hair all over my pillow and bed sheets. Initially, I thought nothing of it. However, my hair began to get gradually thinner and thinner around the top and front of my scalp. For the most part, my hair loss has been gradually getting thinner and falling out as opposed to sudden hairless. Currently, my hair is the thinnest it's been. I have had a recent history with depression and was put on a relatively lower dosage of antidepressants in november with a slight dosage increase around the time my hair began to fall out more frequently. During that time, I was undergoing a lot of stress to put it lightly. I am still taking the medication but currently, I'm reducing my dosage and will be completely off of it in about a week. When my hair falls out, it is (from what I can tell) thinner strands of hair with small white bulb-looking things on the ends. In most strands, the hair seems to be much thinner around the bulbs than on the other end of the hair. It's sometimes hard to see these bulbs, but they are visible with closer examination. My family has a history of MPB, but it's never shown up this early. I visited my doctor who ran blood tests (which came back completely healthy) and she told me that it's either MPB or Telogen Effluvium. Does anyone have any insight on whether or not this could be Telogen Effluvium or Male Pattern Baldness? Any information whatsoever would be greatly appreciated!

Kitty's fur and hair still falling off :(?
I posted a few weeks ago about my kitten losing hair on his ears. He has been to the vet 4 times since then and I have made an appointment to see another vet to get a second opinion. I am hoping someone out there can give me some advice so I know how to approach this new vet or how to better assist my current one so that my kitty gets better! The vet has concluded he had an allergic reaction to the anamax I put on his ear and that only the "reacted" skin should fall off. He is definitely allergic to anamax and also tresaderm, which we had started to use to treat an ear infection before all of this started. Because he was allergic to the tresaderm the vet prescribed mometamax and it cleared up his ear infection no problem. The vet has ruled out ringworm for the skin and hair loss. The skin is not flakely, it more peeling like a sunburn. He, however, has never been outside and does not have contact with other pets. Unfortunately, the fur on his entire ear peeled off and now its spreading down his neck and over his head and starting behind the other ear. The last time I went to see the vet (last week) he gave the kitty a steroid shot to "stop the reaction" which started almost 3 weeks ago and we are currently giving him Chlorhexidine baths every 3 days, but its still getting worse. Today he scratched his face till he bled :( We found 2 other scabs on his body but they cleared up. After the vet gave his the Steroid shot he became constipated but we gave him a little pumpkin puree and he went back to normal. Yesterday he was limping (right back leg) but today he is fine, I think he just landed on it wrong. He does seem to be playing less, although eating and drinking normally. I know this is a lot of information, but I'm growing very concerned that he's not getting any better and I'm looking for some guidance. His next vet appointment is Tuesday. Please only serious answers.

are thyroid problems curable?
I am in my mid teens. I have veryyy low blood pressure, anemia and Irritable Bowel syndrome, I also take Birth control pills to regulate my period and its cramps. Ever since last summer I realized that Ive had extreemme hair loss. I dont have bald patches, but my hair suddenly started thinning like crazy and it looks like I havve less than half the amount of hair I used to. My hair is VERY curly, and it used to be very thick and volumous- now its very thin and lifeless. I also suddenly developed eczema. I started getting it on my body AND on the bottom of my scalp. I believe that I have much kless hair there now, but im also losing it all over my hair where there is NOO eczema. Im wondering if this could be a thyroid problem, if so, is it curable? Will my hair grow back? In addition, if you have any other suggestions as to what the cause of my sudden eczema and hair loss is, please tell me thank you. By the way, I never use hair gel or mousse, I only use moisturizing products
