Need help in alopecia areata treatment(guidelines/suggestion in diet area)?
I've been facing a moderate level of hair loss and its believed to be alopecia areata. I consulted the doctor and they gave me tablets to consume and cream to apply. My scalp is much more recovered now, but not noticing it will still come back, as the bald spot went to the other surface on my scalp, and now I had to take a good care of my hair again. No dying, straightening, perm or styling. It seems very fragile. May I know what is the root cause of alopecia areata and what can be done to prevent it from coming back? What sort of diet should I apply in my daily meal? Appreciate your advise. I've been facing a moderate level of hair loss and its believed to be alopecia areata. Craving beets? Could this possibly be connected to my alopecia areata treatment?
I've been getting the squaric acid treatment for my alopecia areata, and recently the doctor upped the dosage! Now I've been craving beets. I looked it up, and it says beets can lower inflammation, and that's what the squaric acid is doing - inflaming my scalp. Could this possibly be why I'm craving beets? If it is, wow that's bizarre! I think I've only had beets once or twice in my life.
